Mr. Henry T. Olaiya is the esteemed President and CEO of Henry Informational Services Inc. His distinguished career in the investigative field began in 1994. He garnered foundational experience and training at J. C. Owens Investigations Inc., one of Africa’s leading investigative firms, where he served as Manager and Senior Investigator at the Lagos Head office until August 23, 2005.

Mr. Olaiya has personally handled many complex assignments and cases, including Life/Health Insurance Claims, baggage loss, theft and burglary investigation, corporate and individual background checks, Fraud, and Internet Scam investigations. These cases were investigated in numerous countries across West and Central Africa, including Nigeria, Ghana, Cote D’Ivoire, Benin Republic, Cameroon, Republic of Congo, and Angola, among others.

His expertise is recognized globally. On March 16, 1998, he cooperated with the State of New York Superintendent of Insurance and testified in court in the United States, based on the outcome of his investigation in Nigeria which resulted in the successful prosecution of a fraudulent claimant.

Similarly, in 2002, one of the numerous alleged death claims investigated by him had saved a US underwriter half a million dollars, leading to the conviction of the fraudulent claimant by a Massachusetts jury (details were available in the New York Post of Tuesday, April 2, 2002, under the headline “Minister Convicted of Insurance Scam”).

Mr. Henry T. Olaiya is currently a member in good standing of the following professional associations: National Association of Investigative Specialists (U.S.A), Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (U.S.A), Association of Christian Investigators (U.S.A) where he serves as the Director for the West Africa Chapter, and the Florida Association of Licensed Investigators.
